Is it just me, or is the cool factor of cultural offerings in Anchorage increasing exponentially? A few cool events bred TONS of cool events – and now there are just SO many fun things to do! On Saturday, I stopped by Pupil + Paper at the museum, the ridiculously creative fundraiser for the Children’s Lunchbox (a program of Bean’s Cafe) – it definitely “made the cut” as a cool new event.

Loving Hawaii
My husband and I recently returned from a long-delayed honeymoon in Hawaii. We were both in need of some R & R, and I’m happy to say that we found it!
Loving Sitka
Shortly after my trip to New Hampshire (shortly as in about 12 hours) I visited Sitka, Alaska for the first time. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect – other than the Sitka Summer Music Festival and the Sheldon Jackson Fine Arts Camp I didn’t really know much about Sitka at all.
Michael’s Jewelers
The other day I dropped off my engagement ring at Michael’s Jewelers of Alaska for a bit of maintenance. It was my first time visiting – previously, my jeweler of choice was Josh at the Jewelry Cache, but he recently closed his shop, so I thought I’d give Michael’s a try.
