And what a way to connect: people of all ages flocked to Westchester Lagoon to skate with friends old and new. Christmas music blasted. Dogs bounded across the ice, tongues lolling happily. Kids screamed and laughed and maybe cried…but there was hot chocolate so tears didn’t last long. It was a wonderful way to celebrate life in a winter city. Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!
