My lifestyle is about as urban as you can get in Anchorage. I love it – work, dining, art, trails, shopping, parks, and all sorts of other amusements (even fishing!) are within a short walk, and if we tire of “city livin'” it’s only a matter of minutes to get away.

Choose Respect 2013
Today was Governor Parnell’s Choose Respect rally, which raises awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault. More than 140 communities are participating this year. In Anchorage, we marched from the park strip to town square to the wailing of bagpipes and deep drum beats.
